Mega Metagross announced for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

Japanese magazine CoroCoro has revealed the existence of Mega Metagross in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.

This newly announced Mega Evolution of Metagross, a Steel and Psychic-type robotic Pokémon with a disc-shaped body between four sturdy legs, will be owned by Hoenn region Champion Steven Stone. As can be expected, Steven evolves Metagross by activating his Mega Brooch.

CoroCoro’s article makes mention that the Hoenn region will be inhabited by different Pokémon than those in the original Ruby and Sapphire, although that won’t be as noticeable to newcomers to the remakes – Mega Evolutions aside!
